Artist Statement:
Autumn in London is special. At times one feels overcome by the chilly winds and the intermittent rains. Yet it’s not all drab and dull. The streets are clad with autumnal hues of gold, bronze, amber, and red. Passing by one of the streets, I was struck by this particular tree radiating warmth and brilliance. Even the fallen leaves exuded beauty. I knew I had to paint this.
